This narrative tells the story of Annie Sheridan's desperate struggle to maintain her family during the 1800's labor dispute at Harmony Mills in Cohoes, NY. Her hardship is described in stories from the papers and oral traditions of her daughters Maggie and Josie. Maggie tells of life in Cohoes while Josie's stories come from Mattahwan, where her mother has sent her to live.

The CD is recorded and narrated by Maggie's granddaughter, Kathleen Gill, The Story Walker ®.

CD recorded by Bob Zabinski.

PLEASE NOTE: This CD is sold out. However, it will be reissued April, 2008.
